"Twilight" Premiere!...

Ok, I HAD to take the photo off. The other girls look sooo cute, but me, that's another story. In fact, after seeing that picture, I changed my hair. Anyway, just a disclaimer.

Here we are at the Premiere, the first showing (midnight) at The District. Myself, Sandy Greenwood, Bonnie Wright and Rashelle Tolley. (I LOVE your sweatshirt Bonnie!) It was a fun evening! I was surprised at how calm it was, I thought there would be women and young girls everywhere and lots of screaming and crowds. I was pleasantly surprised that there was a nice, calm atmosphere, although you could feel the anticipation in the air! There were actually a few men there too, brave souls! I enjoyed the movie, it was very entertaining, however it wasn't as good as I had hoped. I REALLY wanted to LOOOOVE this movie. Here are my opinions, many based on my perseption from reading the book and images in my head:

*I think... well, just go see it. Decide for yourself. It was entertaining and it was great to see the book made into a movie.

Oh, and just a little statistic: for just the Midnight showing alone, the movie has grossed 7 MILLION in sales!...for JUST the MIDNIGHT showing alone! Wow!

  1. Tell me, can I take my 12 year old she read the books "against my wishes" and is just "dying" to see it!

  2. I was at the District lastnight!!! I totally tried to scan the crowd for people I knew, but didn't see you! I did see lots of people there though. I felt the same as you. Entertaining, but a little hoaky in some parts.

  3. I would suggest seeing it first for yourself, then if you think it is appropriate, then take her. It had some really intense moments that may be too much for her to see.

How ARE you? How exciting to be in San Diego! We LOOOOOVED SD! Where are you living? We were in Oceanside. The beaches are wonderful! I had tried to find you a while back because I needed a hair stylist. Take care!

  4. I wish I would have seen you! I, too, was looking for people I knew, but only saw my neighbors. I LOVED Carlile! I've always thought he was cute (Peter Facinelli) and thought he did a great job! I'm soooo tired today! How about you?!
